Greg Miller told me that I abused God's word. Is he right ?
I had conversation with Greg Miller on one of his videos.
My question is did I took 2. Cor 6:14 out of context ?
English is not my native language, I am saved for 2 years and Greg is pastor for many, many years. I admit I was a novice because I started that conversation in the first place. Maybe I was wrong.
So, if we are defending King James Version, can someone quote 2.Cor 6:14 and say that we are "yoked" with Anderson and Edward.
(YOKED, participle passive Confined in a yoke; joined; coupled.)
Here is our conversation:
ME: "Pastor Miller you are teamed up with "Sanderson1611" and "Edwardpf123" in attacks against Godhead. You can see their comments in full video in your description box. I suppose antisemitism and easy believism are something you can agree and disagree with them. Ask God in prayer what he thinks about that.
2 Corinthians 6:14 "Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?"
Greg's answer: LOL What a stupid, ridiculous abuse of God's word. The fact that I agree on a doctrine with Anderson and Pfeninger does not mean I am "yoked".
Andrew Sluder agrees with "Sanderson1611" and "Edwardpf123" on the claim that Jesus is God.
They also agree on the King James Bible, a literal Heaven, a literal Hell and hundreds of other specifics. Do you see how STUPID your comment is? By your reasoning, Sluder is unequally yoked with them as well, but on other issues.
Are you going to send him a message quoting 2 Corinthians 6:14 completely out of context and ask him to, "Ask God in prayer what he thinks about that?" We welcome SANE, reasonable and intelligent comments and questions. Not STUPID comments and questions. You are ABUSING God's word. Ask God in prayer what he thinks about THAT.
By that definition of "yoked" you could say that the catholics and real bible believers are 'yoked' since they believe Jesus existed.
I agree, it's fellowship (and marriage and probably a few other things) that the "yoked" in that verse means, not believing the same thing as someone else - unless you're actually teaming up with them such as joining Anderson's cult.
Also Marijo, I notice the thing posted twice, it kept happening to me too, it's not bad or anything, but you can fix it by hitting the back button rapidly instead of refresh. Just thought that might help. 🙂
Marijo, I just left a comment to Greg about his reply to your comment. Please go read my comment. I don't know the guy and have never listened to him, but his reply to you was totally wicked. We'll wait and see how he replies...
"A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself." (Titus 3:10-11).
Marijo he sounded pretty defensive, I would forgive him, but I would also recommend praying to God for guidance. I think he could have been a lot more gentle with you, it was just a question. (assuming he is actually teaming up with them rather than saying similar things, that makes your question all the more valid.)
As for what he is teaching I don't know his views on the Godhead or how antisemitic him and Anderson are (prejudice/racist/hateful), but I would be careful. Anti-Jewish stuff is of Satan.
Also I hope you will pray for Greg, so he can be a good leader and shepherd for the flock, so as not to lead them astray. Even if you have to separate yourself.
To give you a straight answer, I strongly disagree that you "abused God's word"
Praying for you Marijo.
