Uncle - mouth cancer
I know it’s been awhile since I’ve been on here, but my family and I have been going through some really difficult circumstances! It has actually been unbelievable and terrifying at times to be honest like we are living in a nightmare! We are only here by the grace of God! But I really did not want this to be about me – maybe another time! You know there is a real spiritual warfare going on - you wouldn't believe what I had to go through just to get this prayer request on here!
My Uncle has mouth cancer and in the early stages of the diagnoses he had a few operations where they had to remove some of his mouth. This was successful at the time, but now the cancer has returned and he has only got a few months to live! He is having chemo - he is in his 80’s!
I’ve heard that some of his family members have already tried to witness to him with the Gospel and he said he was really considering things now – I just hope he received the right Gospel message if you know what I mean! A few weeks ago I felt led to send him a card to say that we were thinking and praying for him. I also included a Gospel tract.
I do not know my Uncle as such as I have not seen him since I was a young child – some family members live so far away and we never see them. I thought by sending my uncle a Gospel tract it maybe like confirmation to him seem as others have witnessed to him as well!
Recently I got word that he received the card and was so excited about it that he has been telling everyone he knows and has been trying to contact me. I just hope that his excitement is due to the fact that he has gone to the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation and he has real peace and joy in Christ!
I was just wondering if you could please pray for him Brethren!
Thinking and praying for you all too!
Praying for your uncle Kaz, and will be praying for you and your family, where almost home, I can feel it! Maybe that's what the Lord had planned so you can deliver him that message, maybe that tract you sent him was just what the Holy Spirit needed to work on his heart. Lord bless.
Will be praying for your uncle sister Kaz, God bless!
Well Sister your not alone in being "unsure about his salvation" statement , I know I can relate with my family!
Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
Psalm 34:22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
We love you sister! And we'll be praying for you always!
Joshua 1: 9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
