If you live in the city you can destroy the book(s) by gluing the pages together; or ripping the cover off and just put the paper in recycling.

There's just a certain satisfaction in burning though.

I've kept a few of my old books like an NIV to show people the errors in them but if the Brethren thinks its best just to get rid of them then that's what I'll do. We have a total fire ban in the State at the moment so may have to find another way!

I don't have a drill, believe that! So when I burned, in a small grill, I watched and turned the pages with a stick as they burned. It was good.

I had an old Anne Graham Lotz book, that I'd never read. I sat and ripped the pages out, then ripped them up. I saw the skull and crossbones, so to speak, so I destroyed it. Like with the poison bottle, I don't need to taste the poison, the skull and crossbones on the bottle are enough.

i wanted to make video about burning these devils...but my wife was so scared i didn't want to stress her out. But now she's down with the  program!

Honestly there is a satisfaction on burning these things.

The best thing the LORD gave me my childhood friend back (saved)yes!

Even though we only do bible studies, his mom and him gave me all sorts of stuff that they couldn't burn, and my children as like no prob we got this! GOD is so good!

This was a great thread to read! My husband and I did the same thing we burned many books many things after we got saved. Perhaps it would be a good idea to do another sweep through our stuff and see if anything else needs to go. I know we still have an nlt and esv just for study purposes but like sister Kaz said if the brethren think they should just go then maybe they should! Not too long ago I got rid of a Himalayan crystal salt lamp. Few other things as well when I was going through some of my old stuff. It truly is freeing when we rid ourselves of any wicked thing!! Praise the Lord!

My Mom has a Himalayan Salt Lamp, as well as other things. I don't like it when I'm there. I don't like it at all! I truly wish she'd get rid of it. It's supposed to clean electronic mess out of the air?? My brother-in-law and sister have wires that run into the ground, in their home, for "grounding" to heal the body. They kinda blew it off when I told them it was witchcraft. I sent my sister information on the beginnings of that. I'd had an experience as a lost man. I was attending some counseling and the woman practiced wicca. She asked my permission, then introduced me to grounding with just planting my feet on the floor. She'd said it was "white witchcraft". I told my sister and brother-in-law about this. His answer was, "let every man be persuaded in his own mind". They are Christian. I told them a year ago and still see the wires last time I was there. Now he doesn't believe that the King James Bible/scriptures are inspired. I pray for them. I don't always like knowing the things I know. As I've said, I'll be moving soon so I see that as a big opportunity to do some more house cleaning. I'd done one big sweep a few years ago, I'm sure there's more. As we learn... Yes, sister Gabrielle, it IS freeing. Bless your heart and soul.

I am sorry to hear that brother Alexander. All I can suggest is that you keep giving small witness as you can. I will be praying for you brother.
