Hymn of the day!
Just found this amazing hymn titled "Come, ye disconsolate"; also below you'll find brother Peter Ruckman singing a shorter version during one of his sermons, really heart-warming.
Come, ye disconsolate, where’er ye languish;
Come to the mercy-seat, fervently kneel;
Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anguish,
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
Joy of the comfortless, light of the straying,
Hope of the penitent, fadeless and pure;
Here speaks the Comforter, tenderly saying—
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot cure.
Here see the Bread of Life; see waters flowing
Forth from the throne of God, pure from above;
Come to the feast of love; come, ever knowing
Earth has no sorrow but heaven can remove.
I heard some instrumental bluegrass music in one of Bryan's videos so I started do some bluegrass, acoustic country and folk music research on YouTube (for the first time) and some of those songs really touched my heart.
Sometimes I forget that I can't walk without his hand. No matter for how many years you have been saved, you'll always be his "little child" from the parent perspective point of view.
Psalms 32:8 "I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye."
