Ok guys,

This segways into my insecurities.

Yesterday, I sat my kids down and we watched a video with Gail Riplinger about modern translations made a little ove 20 years ago. That was before the ESV came out (which the church we recently left was using). Using the pause button, I had the kids look up the verses she mentioned. One of the kids used the ESV. It was a great illustration of why I did what I did in leaving the Babel building system.

Well... brother Matthew (who this far has shown great patience with me), secretly, I have wanted such a resource as you described. I feel totally inadequate in what I am doing. And I am afraid someone is going to get a look behind the curtain. All these years of me making it happen, getting the family to church... and now it’s MY job.

I’m not trying to troll. I get it: church building system is evil. I agree.

Now what?

What have you guys done to get started?

I bought a lectors pronunciation book once from Amazon because I had an interest in proper name pronunciation. Once I got the thing it sat in my desk drawer because it was not what I had expected it to be. I just took out the book again recently and skimmed through it and it alluded to a sermon rotation of 2 years which means these people are using the same sermons over and over again, but spaced out enough so most people will not notice,

Yes I know this to be fact not only do they use over and over rotation of sermons, much of the nonsense isn't even their own. Much of it is taken from written scripts online. I was privy to some inside info having a blood sister who also is a women's/children pastor and it sickens me to say that. The sellout head pastor is to lazy to open a King James Bible and build a sermon based on Gods word, you know it's not like making over $80,000 a year shouldn't warrant some hard work now and then. These guys are crafty they get in the door and stack the board members with those that have his back and if you don't have his back you'll be out! It really is criminal, judgement coming soon!

@spah-ky  I can speak for me, I grew up in a time when your parents said your going to sunday school and then later you need to get to church, you need to go to church, you don't argue you just accept it as doctrine I became indoctrinated by that brainwashing of ,get out to church, go to church. That's where God hangs out and that's where you need to be. It wasn't that long ago when I had one of my blood sisters tell me I need to be in church, after I left the church. I still have family that believe that church building system is the only way to serve God, yet they don't go to His word nor do they understand it, Hypocrites I believe that is how Jesus refers to them!

Matthew 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Job 15:34 For the congregation of hypocrites shall be desolate, and fire shall consume the tabernacles of bribery.

Okay back to my point, when the Lord started working on me, He led me to brother Bryan and his videos and I had to dust off my King James Bible and study along, after a short time I realized I wasn't Saved. So I reached out to Jesus as sinner and now I have that changed life that so many deny in church buildings. Now let me say this, these vipers and hypocrites were quite willing to let me walk right into the lake of fire to serve their purpose, mans traditions. We all have that what do I do now feeling, for me I had so much wasted time I'm not sure there is enough time left to study out His word. So now I study His word and if its His will for me I will speak out against a wicked system that keeps people in bondage to their sin. There was a time when speaking out against the church system would have been a scary thought never mind doing it! Now that He has shown me His truth, its no longer a scary prospect. Praise the Lord for getting you out! I'll pray for you and your family!

My family never pushed religion or the Bible on me at all while I was growing up, and the other side of my family was episcopal, or basically Roman Catholic. I was kept from that side of the family for reasons I won't go into. My mom married my step dad and converted to Judaism but that was not forced on me either. I became a raging atheist and then when I was on the verge of killing myself after losing my son we moved to where we are and God started to deal with me through a false convert. Most all of my walk up to this point has been isolated. The only "fellowship" I had was with a number of false converts until I figured things out on my own with the leading of the Holy Spirit. I didn't have the luxury of all the books I now have and don't use, lol. It was just The Lord, His word and me, until I found brother Bryan's channel. There have a been a few interactions with brethren over the phone and two of them in person for a total of three times, but I have always been isolated for the most part. I did the whole "church" thing and never felt anything there, it was dead and so where the people there. The fellowship was dead and always secular. I go over all of this in far greater detail in my testimony videos. They should still be linked in the testimonies thread here on the forum. There is nothing wrong going it on your own with just You, The Lord and his word. Sometimes He has to get you alone and keep you there for awhile to grow you.
